The event manager is the person behind all the planning and execution of the event. They are also responsible for the building, marketing and communication strategy. The event manager is an expert at the creative, technical and logistical elements that help an event succeed. This includes event design, audio-visual production, scriptwriting, logistics, budgeting, negotiation and, of course, client service. It is a multi-dimensional profession.
The main responsibility of an event manager is to plan and execute the events in a way as not to leave a bad taste in the mouth of client’s at the end of the day. Therefore, it is essential to have a formal training for meeting the expectation levels of the fast-paced industry. Event managers are the needs of the huge multi-dimensioned Event Management Industry in India.
